Earlier we got reports on Jason Derulo being arrested at the Miami Airport after a heated situation turned for the worse while checking in at American Airlines.
Jason took to Instagram to confirmed that cops were called on him and his crew alleging that he was discriminated against. “@AmericanAir I spent millions on your airline throughout the past ten years between myself and my entire staff but have still experienced racial discrimination today at miami airport!!! Called 15 police officers on me as if I’m a criminal!
It’s not ok that when you find out who I am the gears change!
Fuck that!! I want answers,” he wrote.

Well, TMZ reported that Derulo had arrived at the airport along with 8 other people and tried to check in 19 bags. Derulo says that he’s a Concierge Key holder with AA since he uses them so much but his attendant did not allow him to check in his bags and was allegedly rude.
Apparently, in order to not miss his flight, one of his 8 friends decided to stay behind to figure out the baggage situation. Derulo made it on board but was alerted that the person who stayed behind would only be able to check in the bags if he paid $6k and that’s when things took a left turn.
The singer then demanded that the plane turn around so he could get off and the pilot allegedly went off on him because of it. Jason was eventually taken back but the police were waiting for him at the door!
According to an AA source, Derulo had his Conceirge Key privileges mistaken because they claim that key holders are only allowed to have 3 free checked bags. Since he left all of the bags with one person, AA was probably only able to credit him 3 but he had to pay up for the rest.
