Oscar De La Hoya has had his issues with substance abuse for quite some time and it doesn’t look like it’s getting any better. The boxing superstar was arrested Wednesday morning after failing a field sobriety test in Pasadena, Calif.
According to the TMZ report, De La Hoya was stopped for speeding and was given a field sobriety test, and was later arrested.
This is De La Hoya’s third issue with alcohol abuse. He checked into rehab back in 2011, after opening up about have issues with cocaine and alcohol. In 2013, he checked into a drug and rehabilitation center, according to yahoo news.
