2017 Grammy Nominations Are Announced!!!!

The time has finally come for the 59^th Annual Grammy nominations. Everyone knows that the Grammys is one of the biggest award shows in music, and they have been waiting for this years list to see if their favorite artist made the cut.

The general field categories were announced on Tuesday on CBS This Morning, and this year marks the first time the Grammy’s has allowed streaming only recordings to be eligible for a nomination.

Both Beyoncé and Adele will go head to head in a few categories as they are nominated for, “Record of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” “Album of the Year,” and “Best Pop Solo Performance.” With Beyoncé ending with a total of nine nominations.

Another artist to score big is Chance The Rapper; he is nominated for, “Best New Artist,” “Best Rap Performance,” “Best Rap Song,” and more with a total of seven.

Other artists to rack up in nominations include, Kanye West, Drake and Rihanna.
