Black Friday has always been the day stamped for the best deals but with that comes extreme violence
A string of shootings have now plagued Black Friday shopping for many customers across the country.
A man was killed at a New Jersey mall outside of a Macy’s store. He was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene. Another shooting took place at a Reno, Nevada Walmart, where a would be customer was shot to death when a fight broke out over a parking spot.
News of three people being taken into custody over another shooting at a Memphis mall was also reported.
“It’s sad,” one NJ shopper said according to the NY Post. “We’ve been doing this, me and my girls, for probably about 10 years now, just for the fun of going out — a girls’ night and trying to get some special sales and it’s getting scary now.”
As for now there are no suspects found in the NJ shooting.
“It’s very scary, you know, you’re starting off the holiday season and you’re excited about the upcoming times with family and now there’s going to be family who are missing people and their holidays will never be the same,” another Black Friday shopper said.
