Supermodel Kate Upton went in after her fiancé Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers didn’t win the American League Cy Young Award.
Instead Boston Red Sox Rick Porcello was the one who took home the award and Miss Kate wasn’t having it at all.
Apparently, Verlander had 14 first place votes but unfortunately for him Porcello ended up having more second-place votes which in the end gave him an higher overall score. On top of that, a few baseball writers even left Verlander off the ticket completely!
She tweeted:
