All that glitters isn’t gold and Mariah Carey and her now ex billionaire boo James Packer are living testimonies of that.
As you know the former couple is feuding after a bad incident involving Mariah’s assistant took place in Greece causing the singer to cut her trip short.
Well now Mariah is gunning for Packer’a pockets, demanding that he cough up $50 million for her sorrows. According to TMZ, Mariah claims that the violent incident that happened in Greece was so bad she had to cancel her tour in South America. It is also reported that he made verbal financial promises on top of her move cross country just so he could be closer to his family in L.A. is also reasons behind why he needs to cut a check.
Sources close to Mariah also claim that Packer “is not in his right mind” and that she was forced to leave because he was “mentally unstable.”
A source tells People, “James has not been in a mentally healthy place. His behavior was not a desirable situation for Mariah so she unfortunately had to leave him.”
This may provide insight on the alleged blowup Packer had after he grew suspicious of Mariah’s relationship with her choreographer and back up dancer, Bryan Tanaka.
Apparently, the Australian businessman wasn’t too fond of the lap dance Bryan received from Mariah in one of her shows in Africa back in May.
Packer tried to confront the choreographer about it in June after he got upset that Bryan showed up for a show he was supposed to sit out on due to an injury but according to TMZ the conversation didn’t blow over well. It allegedly ended with Packer using his casino connects to ban the dancer from Caesar’s Palace… ironically the same place Mariah has her performing residency at.
Too had it didn’t bother Mariah that much because she was recently spotted with Bryan dining at Nobu in Malibu.
Packer’s team has denied Mariah’s allegations and says they are not getting back together amindst rumors that the couple may be able to work it out.
