Word on the street is Ray J is coming for Kanye West in attempt to gain some “Redemption” from Yeezy’s infamous “Famous” video.
According to Billboard, the Love and Hip Hop Hollywood singer has a response to Kanye’s song with his very own track entitled “Famous” also and he has apparently tagged Chris Brown in on it too!
“You can’t fault me and Chris for responding to all the things that have been done about us [in the media] over the last few months,” Ray said about the track.
For those who don’t know where the beef comes from, ‘Ye had used some shady choice of words against his wife’s Kim Kardashian’s ex in his “Famous” song which said, “I bet me and Ray J would be friends if we ain’t love the same b*tch / Yeah, he might’ve hit it first / Only problem is I’m rich.” He then went on to use Ray J as well as Chris Brown’s likeness in the song’s official music video.
“Raydemption” is slated to be a visual album and is the first album the singer has put out since 2008.
“I really wasn’t going to put out another album because I was doing my tech and bikes,” he said. “But I went in the studio, and I felt like I was just connecting with the music. The bars started coming.”
The album will also feature Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Too $hort, and Kid Ink and will only stream on LookHu.com.
Byron Booker, LookHu.com’s CEO, describes Ray J’s new album as “a controversial record in which Ray sets the record straight, reclaims his power, and moves forward.”
He continues to say that Chris Brown “is going to be talking about his rendezvous with certain celebrities in his past, as well as certain women that he helped catapult to fame.”
Welp, I’ll be waiting with my popcorn when the track finally drops! Lets chat below!
