The sign that memorializes the life of #EmmettTiil is now filled with bullett holes!
According to ThinkProgess, the sign has over 50 bullet holes in it. Till was was kidnapped and brutally murdered back 1955 after allegedly whistling at a white woman. His body was found in the Tallachatchie River and the two individuals responsible were found not guilty by an all white jury.
His death was major part in the civil rights movement and hopefully police can find those responsible for this crime.
