Actress Gabrielle Union isn’t here for BET because she’s suing the network for illegally trying to extend her contract for her hit show ‘Being Mary Jane.’
According to Rhymes With Snitch, Gabrielle had signed off to film 13 episodes of Being Mary Jane per season and would be paid $150k episode. Now the problem came when Gabby caught wind one week before principal photography for season 4 that they were trying to tape two seasons back to back in order to cancel out her $15k raise for season 5.
Gabrielle wants BET to run her a cool $1 million and that they honor her contract of shooting 13 episodes per season.
