Jhene Aiko is an amazing artist who is especially great at putting her emotions into her music.
A lot of us can identify with her lyrics and that’s why it’s so easy to love her! With that being said, the singer recently revealed that new music is coming our way next year.
“I’ve actually been working on a project for three years now, it’s what I would call a passion project that will be released in 2017,” the singer told Merry Jane. “I can’t give out too many details yet, but it’s a compilation of all things I’m passionate about like poetry, and family, music, theatre.”
Three years is quite some time to be working on an album, however, I’m here for it. Jhene has, perhaps, experienced a plethora of emotions stemming from a relationship and now heading for a divorce from her now estranged husband, Dot Da Genius.
A lot of unexpected things have probably happened in her life between now and then, and this will more than likely make the music dope.
I wonder if Big Sean will have any features…
