Just a week before the 20th anniversary of the late great Tupac Shakur’s death is supposed to be celebrated, handwritten lyrics from the rap icon himself have gone up for sale!
According to TMZ, the lyrics to his song “Catchin Feelings” off of his 2002 Better Dayz album is being sold for $38,500 by a company called, Moments in Time, a memorabilia company known for having a lot of Tupac’s belongings on it’s site.
Apparently, company owner Gary Zimet received the lyrics from a former employee that worked at the studio where Tupac originally recorded the song. The employee had kept it since 1996.
As said previously, MiT is known for having Tupac memorabilia, the most expensive one being the letter he wrote to ex Death Row Uncut magazine editor Nina Bhadreshwar while in jail … Retail a whopping $225,000!
Either way Tupac is a part of history, will you pay the price to have a piece of it? Let’s chat below !
