Straight off the heels of her performance during the 2016 Olympic Games in #Rio, Gabby Douglas has landed another gig with ABC! Yesterday, the Miss America Organization announced that the 20 year old would be a joining the judges panel for this year’s 2017 Miss America competition.
Honored to be chosen for the panel, Douglas gushed with excitement as she told reporters how much she looks forward to the opportunity.
“Miss America has been such an amazing event for so many years and I am excited to have the opportunity to judge the competition this year,” she said in a statement. “The contestants are a great example of strong women across America and I especially look forward to hearing the platforms that each of them will represent!”
According to USA Today, Douglas will join Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, musician and actress Laura Marano, singer-songwriter Cole Swindell, actress Sara Foster and former Miss America Sharlene Wells Hawkes.”
Chris Harrison from The Bachelor will serve as host with Sage Steele from NBA Countdown as co-host.
