T.I. And Mike Epps Pair Up For A Queen Latifah Produced Comedy!

Looks like some positivity has finally come T.I.’s way because he just keeps landing these acting roles, chile! According to Complex, T.I. is teaming up with Mike Epps in a new Queen Latifah produced comedy called “The Trap.”

The ATL rapper plays a character that returns home after a lengthy absence to help his brother (Mike Epps) save their mother’s restaurant.

T.I. first hit the big screen back in ’06 in ATL–which is also supposedly still in the works for a sequel.

As far as Mike goes, we hear there’s a Richard Pryor biopic on the way that he’s been preparing for.

Anyways, you can’t have a dream team without a Queen! The Trap will be added to Queen Latifah’s growing list of productions under her entertainment company, Flavor Unit Entertainment. If you’ve seen Beauty Shop, Steel Magnolia (not to be confused with the 1989 film), Brotherly Love, Bringing Down the House, or Bessie, you’re familiar with the vibe that the Queen brings to the big screen.

More good news! It’s safe to predict that The Trap will serve its fair share of time on Netflix bcause they landed an exclusive licensing deal with FUE! This grants them first-pick privileges on all its projects!!

Are y’all here for this collab, #Roomies? Let’s chat below!
