Kodak Black Will Stay In Jail After Two Active Warrants Were Discovered While Processing His Release

Looks like the #KodakFree hashtag may be put on hold because word on the street is Kodak Black may not be getting out as soon as we thought. Yesterday, we reported that the 19-year-old rapper was supposed to be released after spending 91 days locked up for robbery and false imprisonment.

Well according to the Sun Sentinel, Black, who’s real name is Dieuson Octave, had hit a road block when an additional two active arrest warrants appeared under his name while he was being processed for his release.

“We don’t have any more information,” Joy Oglesby of the Broward Sheriff’s Office told Complex over the phone before confirming the report. “We are not releasing him because there are two active warrants and one of those warrants is a no bond hold.”

Kodak’s judge had allowed the rapper to dodge a 55 year max sentence on the condition that he doesn’t mess up again. “I will give you an opportunity, Mr. Octave, to prove yourself here, and be a productive member of society […] What happens from here on out is up to you.”

As a condition of his release, Octave was required to do a year of house arrest with five years probation as well as community service and anger management in exchange of his jail time.

Praying for the kid! Lets chat below!
