Yesterday terror hit JFK airport in NY after reports of shots fired surfaced. Well authorities found no evidence of a shooting but instead offered another explanation.. Usain Bolt fans.
According to NBC News, an official investigating the shooting came to the conclusion that there was no shooter and that “cheering, clapping and banging from people watching the Olympic Games” may have prompted some into believing that a gun fight was taking place.
Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt had just captured the gold medal in the 100-meter race just minutes before reports of an active shooter at JFK came through to authorities.

After a speedy investigation it was confirmed that no shooting had taken place.
UPDATE: @PAPD & #NYPD #ESU are clearing Terminal 1 & 8 (Departures). There is nobody shot. It appears that no shots have been fired.
