NFL star Antonio Cromartie is making his mother move out of a home he allegedly bought her as a gift. A rep told TMZ Sports, “His mother has been paying the mortgage on the house since 2011. That’s the deal they have in place. It wasn’t until June that she refused to make any payments.”
TMZ also spoke with the NFL player’s little sister LaQuinta Gardner who says that her mother was served with an eviction notice yesterday and is not happy about it. According to her, everything was going smoothly until her brother asked their mother to pay their $700 mortgage in February. She refused, because he makes millions of dollars and believes that her son should pay for the expenses since the house was a gift to her. However, Cromartie apparently believes that his parents can fend for themselves.
Perhaps the reason why he’s doing this is because he can’t afford to spend extra money. I mean, he has 12 kids! Anyway, Cromartie is willing to let her stay if she forks over $2,310 in back payments before August 15th. So far, Gardner has created a GoFundMe for her mother to raise money.
