Oscar-winning singer Jennifer Hudson and her boo former reality star, David Daniel Otunga, Jr. have been engaged since 2008, but seem to have no interest in revealing a wedding date or confirming that they even have one!
She does, however confirm that a wedding is still happening…eventually. “It’s been a thought obviously,” she tells ESSENCE. “It’s about timing. I am in no rush at all.”
Now, even though she says that they’re in no rush, Hudson attended singer Ciara and Russell Wilson’s UK nuptials last month and their ceremony may have inspired Hudson to get the ball rolling on her own wedding! “After being at Ciara’s wedding, I’m like, okay,” she said. “I don’t know, it inspired something. I just loved her dress. It was so beautiful. So that made me say, okay, all [of] my friends and peers are married now. You know what I mean?”
So will we see J-Hud stroll down the isle anytime soon?! “We will,” she told Essence. “It will happen.”
