Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Oprah Windrey has set to star in the classic children’s book ‘A Wrinkle In Time’ as Mrs. Which.
The book is an adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s 1963 novel about a young girl whose government scientist father goes missing after working on a mysterious project. She goes on a search for him and meets some interesting creatures along the way and Mrs. Which helps her along her journey.
Ava DuVernay will be directing the film alongside Frozen writer Jennifer Lee, so this is expected to be a huge film! It’s DuVernay’s first feature-length project since Selma in 2014. She and Oprah are currently working together on a new series called Queen Sugar which airs in September.
