Roommates did you all know that Jay-Z and Jermaine Dupri are basically BFFs? Well according to a Rap Radar podcast interview, ever since ’98 hit “Money Ain’t A Thang,” Dupri says they have conversations quite often.
“Me and Jay have like, conversations that I’m sure he probably don’t have with nobody else because you know, that’s how we met each other,” Dupri said to Rap Radar’s Elliot Wilson and Brian ‘B.Dot’ Miller. “When we had a conversation, we sounded like two people that knew each other already.”
Fast forward to 2016, both music moguls are still very close, so close in fact that Dupri knows the title of Jay’s new album!! Yes you read that right!!! In the interview, the ATL rapper says “the album might be finished.”
As many of you know Jay-Z hasn’t dropped an album since 2013, but already has a few singles out “Spiritual,” “Songs forSurvival,” and of course his collaboration with DJ Khaled, “I Got the Keys.”
