“The Daily Show” host and comedian Trevor Noah, addressed the police shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile in a comedic, yet serious manner.
The South African native had me snapping my fingers in agreement the entire 7 minutes of his monologue.
“It always feels like in America, it’s like, if you take a stand for something, you automatically are against something else. It’s such a strange world to be in.”
“You shouldn’t have to choose between the police and the citizens that they are sworn to protect,” he continued.
Noah also addressed the issue of video footage somehow not being enough.
“Seeing is believing, and yet for some strange reason when it comes to police shootings, seeing isn’t believing.”
Chile, you could write a book of quotes from his entire monologue.
