Looks like Lil Wayne is back in the headlines after a bouncer accused the rapper of punching him in the face last night!
According to TMZ, Lil Wayne was to host a BET Awards afterparty at Hyde nightclub on Sunset along with fellow rapper, 2 Chainz. Things went left after Wayne had arrived to turn up but the bouncer had turned away a few of his homies! A few words were exchanged and thats when the bouncer alleges that he was sucker punched by Weezy.
Apparently the bouncer’s injuries were enough for him to go get checked out at a hospital and now he wants Wayne booked on misdemeanor battery charges.
Authorities are also looking into the altercation but of course theres always another side to every story. The Young Money rapper is denying that the altercation ever took place. Sources say that the bouncer was actually their VIP attendant all night! However, they do admit to having a “brief altercation” when the bouncer accidentally grabbed him not realizing who the rapper was at first. He had apparently apologized right after.
