The 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards were on and popping this year with some of the hottest artist’s in the game. The taping aired on Tuesday but the show took place in Atlanta over the weekend, where The Shade Room captured the best moments from the red carpet.
If for some reason you missed, we’ve got it all here. This year’s show was hosted by none other than Hip Hop’s favorite uncle, Snoop Dogg, who brought life to every moment throughout the night. Kendrick Lamar had a huge night as he walked away with three big wins, including Best Hip Hop Video, Lyricist of the Year and Impact Track.
Big Sean stepped up and matched Lamar with three of his own, Best Club Banger, Best Duo or Group and People’s Champ Award. As expected, Drake and J Cole got some wins under their belts as well. (Check out the full list of winners below).
The show was a little shorter than normal but it was jam packed with some dope performances. Future opened things up strong with “Where Ya At” and “March Madness.”
Diddy also hit the stage and surprised us with some new music featuring Lil Kim, Styles P. and King Los (let’s not forget to mention that Diddy is still out here bopping). Travi$ Scott delivered a dope performance of his own, while Dej Loaf, Rich Homie Quan and T.I. all rocked the BET stage.
One thing that remained the same this year was the heat from these legendary cyphers. Redman, Doug E. Fresh and Keith Murray, were all a part of this year’s lineup and they killed it.
What was your favorite moment of the show?
