The last time Deion Sanders and his ex wife Pilar have seen the inside of a courtroom was during their messy divorce.
Now it’s looking like they may be headed back, but this time because their son is being accused of beating a school official so bad that he needed spinal surgery.
According to the court documents obtained by TMZ, John Darjean said Sanders teenage son was breaking the schools rules by using his cellphone on campus during school hours. He tried to confiscate the phone from him, but instead he was violently beaten.
The injuries he suffered were so bad that he had to get spinal surgery. Now the insurance company that paid for this workers comp is suing both Deion and Pilar. They claim both parents knew about their son’s reckless behavior, but have failed to do anything about it.
Now they are looking to receive $26,000 in reimbursement.
