Word on the street is a huge Tupac fan is now the owner of the late rapper’s Hummer H1! According to CNN, the vintage Hummer sold for $337,114!
Tupac purchased the vehicle back in 1996 just three months prior to his death. Inside the truck the “All Eyez On Me” rapper customized the vehicle with, “off-road lights, diamond plate bumpers, 360-degree spotlight and a grille guard along with an external PA system coupled with three sirens. Also an automatic transmission and a 6.5 liter turbo diesel V8 engine.”
The buyer of the car wishes to stay anonymous, but the car was under the ownership of Tupac’s late mother Afeni Shakur, as well as a few other owners.
Executive Vice President of RR Auction, Robert Livingston said, “It’s an incredible piece of hip-hop history that evokes the invincible spirit of one of rap’s true lyrical giants. We are thrilled at the price achieved and with the continued success of our specialty themed auctions.”
