Panic filled Tarzana Park yesterday when dozen of visitors were sent screaming and ducking for cover after they mistaken a video reenactment of a shooting for the real deal!
According to TMZ, “Rich and Acquitted”, a docuseries highlighting the famous acquittals like O.J. Simpson, R. Kelly, and Michael Jackson, was shooting a scene reenacting the shooting that almost put Snoop Dogg in jail.
Cops were informed about that the scene would include actors shooting blanks at the park but unfortunately that information never got around to park goers.
For those who are unfamiliar with the story, Snoop Dogg was accused of the 1993 shooting death of rival gang member, Philip Woldemariam. Of course Snoop was later tried and acquitted, he even made a song about it entitled, “Murder Was The Case That They Gave Me.”
This isn’t the first time a hip hop shooting reenactment that left people running and screaming. The famous Tupac shooting was redid on the Vegas strip for his upcoming movie and of course bystanders knew nothing about it.
“Rich And Acquitted” will air in September on the Reelz channel.
