Kanye West just might be going on tour, well that’s according to his interview with Steve Harvey Tuesday morning! He gloats that his tour game is strong and September might be key.
“You know my tour game is strong…My tour game is unprecedented. So we’re going to go out in September I believe, and we’re just working on some of the ideas right now. But as I said before, I’m trying to literally inspire these kids the way Disney inspired me when I saw the original Star Wars.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about a possible your however, this is the first time we’ve heard it from Kanye so it may be on the horizon for real.
Okay so the tour is great news but let us tell y’all this other tea ‘ye spilled –including his beef with Wiz.
First, y’all must remember all that buzz surrounding Kanye and Kirk Franklin’s musical relationship? We don’t know about y’all but Ultralight Beam wasn’t too bad! Anyways, here’s what Kanye had to say about those critics who weren’t here for the collab:
“There’s critics and then there’s artists. I kick a critic out the studio. I didn’t read one review on my fashion show. I didn’t read one review on The Life of Pablo. The only review is someone waking up in the morning, and listening to ‘Ultralight Beam,'” West said.
Well said, Kanye!
As far as his web-altercation with Wiz, Kanye said, “You know how you would feel if someone was talking about your wife. Did I take it too far? You know what? I’m from 79th street Chicago … I can’t say that if someone says ‘F you,’ I can’t say I’m not gonna say the exact same thing back.”
With all that said, he still seemed to be a bit apologetic about his reaction to the whole situation.
“I really want to stress the amount of respect that I have for parents. There is no concept of anyone beating up on someone else’s child or that type of concept. So everyday I feel more deeply deeply apologetic about that concept, because I only want to put out positive concepts,” he said.
And just like that, we learned there might be a TLoP tour on the way, Kanye doesn’t give two fingers in the middle about critics (that’s no news though) and Kanye is about that life when you come (or don’t come) for his wife!
