Around 2:30 am this morning, many NYC gang members were in for a rude awakening!
The New York Post reports, that nearly 1,000 law enforcement officials arrested almost 100 gang members today! And this is reportedly one of the biggest shakedowns in NYC history!
Law enforcement officials raided more than 100 locations around the Eastchester Gardens NYCHA housing complex in Williamsbridge to make the big bust.
The gangs that were involved were said to have had beef with each other for awhile now. The Daily News states that the two gangs, 2 Fly YGZ (Young Gunnerz) and the Big Money Bosses were always causing damage to the Eastchester Gardens and Edenwald Houses community fighting over who’s turf is who’s.
Out of the 100 that were arrested 60 of them are expected to be facing criminal charges in federal court to crimes related to at least five homicides, credit card fraud scamns, robbery, and for selling of weed and oxy within the area.
