Adrien Broner has been in the media a lot lately, and for all the wrong reasons. The boxing champ is currently behind bars in an Ohio county jail, where he will remain for the next 10 days to serve out a prior reckless driving conviction, which could have been avoided.
According to TMZ, Broner was given probation back in July 2015 when he was arrested for driving under the influence. He told cops on the scene that he was “super rich and famous.”
Broner ended up pleaded no contest, but everything went down hill in November when he violated his probation and his popularity couldn’t save him because the judge sentenced him to 10 days in the slammer.
Adrien appeared in court today, and pled not guilty to violating his probation and from there he was booked and will call the Hamilton County jail his home for now.
