Looks like the St. Louis Rams aren’t here for Reggie Bush and his lawsuit against them because according to TheJasmineBrand.com, they are calling it complete “nonsense!”
TJB reports that Reggie Bush had filed a suit against the St. Louis Regional Convention & Sports Complex Authority, St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission as well as the St. Louis Rams after he suffered injuries while playing at the arena.
Bush is arguing that the knee injury he suffered after he ran into a patch of concrete on the Rams’ sideline late last year cost him his season and major coins! “At that time, the turf playing field at the Dome was surrounded by a slippery concrete surface, now known by many as the “concrete ring of death”’, the football player said.
He also noted that other players from other teams have also suffered injuries at the stadium due to the stadium’s “failure to maintain a safe environment for the players.”
Well the St. Louis Rams clapped back at his lawsuit saying that it violates the collective bargaining agreement between his union – the NFL players association and the National Football League. According to TJB, “the CPA is very clear about parties responsibilities to monitor and protect players safety during a game and specifically states a player cannot sue but must go to arbitration, which is a private legal proceedings decided by one person. The team says Bush is fully aware that he couldn’t file the lawsuit instead of going to arbitration with them.”
The Rams’ are asking that the negligence and premises liability suit be thrown out because Bush also never provided any evidence that they were to make sure he never got injured.
It is unclear how much Bush is asking for but one things for sure this may get extremely messy! Hopefully it doesn’t caught him his job!
