Y’all remember when Chris Rock got the Inglewood CA’s Girl Scouts Troop 521 to come to the Oscar’s and pass out them bomb girl scout cookies to all the celebs? And remember at the end of the show Chris said they had raised just a little over $65k? Someone must have gobbled that $65k up along with them cookies because the Girl Scouts have yet to see any of that money.
Latoya Edwards, whose daughter was among the many girls at show passing cookies out, told TMZ that someone is playing games. Apparently the National Girl Scout Council told them that the Academy would be donating the $65k to the Greater L.A. Council, but unfortunately the check has yet to be written and no one is picking up of the phone, I wonder if they got a caller ID though.
Edwards was happy that the girls were given the opportunity to help out at the Oscar’s but at the end of the day BBHM, and that’s exactly what the Girl Scouts of America want, that coin! Okay!
