Updates have finally been revealed just weeks after Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad defensive back Earl Wolff had reportedly been kidnapped back in February.
According to ESPN, police responded to calls that a man was robbed at gunpoint and kidnapped just after 3 AM, February 23rd in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Word is he had been visiting some friends in the area when he was walking to his car and confronted at gunpoint and then forced into his car. His car was later found in a nearby city.
“We don’t know how long he was kidnapped but it was a short period of time,” Fayetteville police spokesman Antoine Kincade said.
Although the incident happened back in February, we are just hearing about it because Wolff allegedly requested that his privacy be respected and took appropriate measure to keep the news quiet. He still at this point does not wish to speak about the incident.
Police have since arrested Bobby DeShawn Bailey in correlation with the kidnapping and charged home with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy, larceny, first-degree kidnapping, possession of marijuana, and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
