Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy and ex NFL running back Curtis Brinkley may be in some deep trouble after it was reported that the pair was involved in brawl against three off duty officers in a Philly club this past weekend!
According to CSN Philly, officers Darnell Jessie, Roland Butler and Sergeant Daniel Ayers were turning up at Recess Nightclub in Philly when they decided to ball out on four bottles of champagne. Officer Butler then tried to move somewhere else with a bottle in hand when former player Tamarcus Porter confronted Butler about ownership of the bottle.
According to reports, Porter ” approached him and tried to pull the bottle from his hand.” An argument allegedly began shortly after at which McCoy, Brinkley as well as another man identified as Christopher Henderson went over to assist Porter and thats when all hell broke loose.
After the brawl was broken up, Butler suffered a cut over his right eye, a broken nose, broken ribs, and a sprained thumb after allegedly being repeatedly punched, kicked and stomped throughout his body and head several times. Officer Jessie also admitted himself to the hospital to get stitches over hid left eye and treatment for a possible skull fracture.
There is video footage showing both entourages being thrown out the club and the Bills have since released a statement saying, “We are aware of the reports regarding LeSean McCoy and in the process of gathering more information. We will not provide any further comment at this time.”
We will keep you posted on the situation!
