Two male prostitutes have just been sentenced to 25 years to life by a Manhattan Judge for murdering one of their customers out in Chelsea, NY, back in 2012.
Edwin Faulkner, 33, and Juan Carlos Martinez-Herrera, 35 allegedly robbed, and murdered John Laubach, 57, who was reportedly a faithful customer. “He was my client, we had sex, we come a lot of times to his apartment. We had a deal; he paid to have sex with me,” Juan Carlos testified in New York Criminal Court.
“When you’re a prostitute you meet all kinds of men. Jack (the couple’s nickname for John) liked to s**k my d**k, used candles on my skin, he liked to get choked and he liked an arm around his neck,” Juan Carlos added. “I found him old and unattractive, he was only a client. The only time I took from Jack was when he was dead,” He said.
Their sentencing judge, Judge Wittner feels as though Juan Carlos and Edwin took advantage of John’s “kind nature.”
“He let them shower there — he talked to them. He let them leave their clothes there,” Wittner said in open court.”
Apparently the two were taking more from John than just sex. Perhaps a good situation turned bad –although they claim it was just business, Assistant District Attorney Lanita Hobbs suggests other wise.
“They dispassionately tied a man to his bed — someone who they have a personal and intimate relationship with, albeit an unconventional one,” she said.
Allegedly, after robbing and leaving John lifeless in his own apartment, the pair pawned John’s jewelry and other valuable belongings right before leaving NY and heading to Miami.
Their actions are leaving them living the rest of their natural life behind bars. Justice has been served.
