Matt Barnes Receives Punishment For His Altercation With Derek Fisher!!

Looks like Matt Barnes will be facing consequences for getting into an altercation with New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher!

If you remember social media had clowned Matt earlier this year after he drove 95 miles to his ex-wife, Gloria Govan’s house after one of his twins let the cat out of the bag that “Mommy’s friend Derek is here” back when she was throwing a party at her home.

“Barnes went crazy. He got in his car and went to the house and went after Fisher,” a source told the NY Post. “Matt then drove down there to beat the s–t out of him.”

Well according to the Post, the Memphis Grizzlies power forward is now facing a two game suspension that he is to start immediately. He will be missing out on their game against the Miami Heat on Tuesday and the Utah Jazz on Saturday. His suspension will also interrupt him making $64,000 in coins since he won’t be playing.

There has been no word yet on if Derek will also receive a punishment for his role in the fight. Ironically enough, the Grizzlies are to play the Knicks a few weeks from now on Jan. 16. This may be a good game to watch! Lets chat below!
