As our nation has heard and prayed for the safety of Paris, it has been reported that the terrorist group, ISIS, has taken responsibility for the heartless attacks that left at least 100 people dead in Paris and over 40 in Lebanon.
President Francois Hollande declared a state of emergency Friday, Nov. 13 and rounded up government officials after shutting down it’s french borders in order to crack down on the terroristic threat.
As you know there were multiple attacks that rocked the beautiful city of Paris one being a bombing near near Stade de France. Ironically enough, another bomb was scheduled to take place inside of the soccer stadium as the France vs Germany game went on. Thankfully enough, security stopped a man wearing an explosive vest which prompted them to stop him and before asking him to leave the game which was already 15 minutes in. The attacker then backed up and detonated his bombs and three minutes later suicide bombers outside of the stadium also blew themselves up into pieces. You can even here one of the bombs go off during the game in the video below:
“It is an act of war that was prepared, organized and planned from abroad, with complicity from the inside, which the investigation will help establish,” Hollande declares.
This story is continuing to develop more and more, outside of the people dead there are also many more missing. Hollande is predicting that this has to be the worst attack since World War II, and it’s definitely not ending there. As a precaution, the U.S. has put all major cities which include, New York City, D.C., and Los Angeles under high alert. We will continue to brief you on the story as the information comes in.
