With that being said, the Michigan State Police got a hold of 13 truck drivers to line up under the Detroit bridge freeway to help prevent a man from jumping and taking his own life.
The 13 trucks were lined up on both sides of the bridge to make sure all bases were covered. The purpose of this was to ensure that if the man did jump, the fall would be extremely short.
According to #Fox2Detroit, MSP, Huntington Woods and Oak Park police were all at the scene with negotiators who were talking to the man for hours.
Thankfully, they were successful in preventing the man from jumping, and he was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
